Q. Who is eligible to apply for the Placement Guarantee course?
The Placement Guarantee course is meant for pre-final and final year students, recent graduates, and young professionals who wish to build a career in Electric Vehicles. You should also be authorized and available to work in India upon completion of the program if you wish to avail the job guarantee benefits.
Q. I am in the early years of college and will NOT be graduating in the next 12 months, can I still apply?
Yes, if you have decided to make a career in electric vehicles and are ready to put in the required time and effort to complete the program, you can still apply and we will evaluate your application based on its quality.
You would be able to apply to the short term or work from home opportunities that are published on Internshala.
Q. I have more than 3 years of work experience in a different field and now I want to switch to Electric Vehicles, can I apply?
Yes, you can. However, please note that the placement opportunities that we would be curating for the students of the Placement Guarantee course would be those of jobs and internships with pre-placement offer and the same will be made available to you too.
Different companies may factor in your prior work experience in their hiring decisions differently and it will be at the sole discretion of the companies.
Q. What questions will the application process consist of?
The application form would consist of questions on your education, your motivation to build a career in electric vehicles, questions to test your ability to think creatively and your communication skills.
Q. On what parameters would my application be evaluated?
Your application would be evaluated on the basis of your written communication skills.
Q. My application was rejected, can I still pay the fee and join the program?
No, you can not.

You can. However, it is recommended that you speak to us first to understand shortcomings in your previous application before deciding to re-apply.
Q. What system configuration is needed to do this training?
To do this training, you would need a computer with a minimum 4 GB RAM and Windows 10 or later (64 bit).
Q. How will I get Ansys?
Ansys student version is available for learners which will be sufficient for the purpose of this program. We will help you with how to download and install the trial version on your system during the program.
Q. How would I get SolidWorks?
The 60 days trial version of SolidWorks would be sufficient for the purpose of this program. We will help you with how to download and install the trial version on your system during the program.
Q. Can I use MATLAB & Simulink license for commercial use?
No, the license that will be provided to you is only for learning purpose. Using it for any commercial or business purpose is strictly prohibited.
Q. How would I get MATLAB & Simulink?
We have collaboarted with MathWorks, who will provide us with the license of MATLAB and Simulink for the duration of this program. You will be provided with the software license and 5 days live training from MathWorks during the program.
Q. Do I need any prior knowledge of Electric Vehicles to join the Placement Guarantee course?
No, you don't need any prior knowledge of EV for this course. Everything about EV will be taught to you from scratch. However, an understanding of 12th level physics would be required to be able to understand and do the calculations taught in the course.
Q. I'm not able to make payment. What should you do now?
You could try making the payment from a different card or account (of a friend or family). Otherwise, you can follow the instructions on how to make an offline payment here.
Q. What are the different options available to pay the program fee?
You can pay the Placement Guarantee course fee online using any of the following payment methods - debit card, credit card, netbanking, UPI, and wallets. You will receive the link to make the payment once your application is successful.
Q. What softwares/tools would be needed to undergo the Placement Guarantee course and how can I get them?
You would need MATLAB, Simulink, SolidWorks, Ansys, & Proteus at different stages of this program.
Q. My payment got deducted twice. What should I do now?
Just let us know your registered email id along with the screenshot of the payment receipt or transaction history. You can submit your request using the "Need further assistance?" section. Once verified, the additional amount you paid will be refunded.
Q. I can not pay the entire fee in one go and would like to pay it in installments. What should I do?
Depending on your payment method, you can opt for no cost EMI where a certain amount will be deducted from your account every month over a period of EMI duration that you choose. Please note that the no-cost EMI is available only select payment methods that you can see here.
Q. Do I need to have a laptop or desktop to do the Placement Guarantee course or can I do it on mobile too?
You can watch the videos and take quizzes & tests on any device including mobile. However, for assignments and projects, use of a desktop or laptop will be needed and hence it is advised that you do this Placement Guarantee course on a laptop or desktop.
Q. How does the EMI option work? How much amount will I need to pay every month? Do I need to pay extra as interest cost?
If you choose to pay via EMI, a certain amount will be deducted from your account every month. For example, if the total program fee (including taxes) is Rs. 100 and you choose to pay via 12 months EMI then you will be charged Rs. 8.33 (100/12) every month.
Since these are no cost EMIs, you don't need to pay anything extra as interest or processing fee. The total program fee you would pay over the duration of the EMI will remain the same as it would have been if you paid all of it upfront.
Q. The payment shows failed but money got deducted? What should I do now?
The amount deducted will come back to your account within 7-10 working days. This is the normal duration your bank will take to credit the amount back into your account.
Q. The payment was successful but it still shows 'Make Payment' on my dashboard? What should I do?
At times, there may be a slight delay in your payment reflecting on your Internshala Trainings dashboard. However, if your payment is not reflecting even after 30 minutes, please let us know your registered email id along with the screenshot of the payment receipt or transaction history. You can submit your request using the "Need further assistance?" section. Once verified, we will update your payment status from the backend.
Q. Can I stop or cancel the EMIs later if I decide not to continue with the Placement Guarantee course?
No, you can not cancel or stop the EMIs at a later date since your bank would have already paid the entire program fee on your behalf to Internshala

Q. Can I get a refund from the program?
Once the user has made the payment and accessed the training content, no refund would be permitted if the user does not graduate from the program.

At the time of making the payment, you will have the option to choose your preferred batch start date.

Q. How will the courses in the Placement Guarantee course be taught? What will be the timing of the online classes?
The Placement Guarantee course consists of 6 video-based courses that you would complete one after another. The videos are pre-recorded so you can watch them any time of the day as convenient to you. The courses also consist of exercises, quizzes, tests, and projects that you will undergo as you learn.
Q. What is the duration of the Placement Guarantee course? How many hours a day do I need to spend on the program to complete it in the given duration?
You need to complete the Placement Guarantee course within 3 months from your chosen batch start date. If you spend ~1 hour every day, you should be able to complete the program comfortably in 3 months including all the projects, tests, vivas etc.
Q. What if I am not able to complete the entire Placement Guarantee course in the given duration? Will I get an extension?
If you are not able to complete the Placement Guarantee course in 8 months due to any unforeseen reasons, you will be able to get an extension of 2 weeks on paying Rs. 4999 or an extension of 1 month on paying Rs. 7999.
Q. How will the courses in the Placement Guarantee course be taught? What will be the timing of the online classes?
The training will be delivered to you through pre-recorded/ self paced videos and live sessions. You can choose to watch the videos at any time of the day and for as much time as you want. However, live sessions will happen at the scheduled time only. You will be provided with the recordings of these live sessions if you miss them.
Q. What if I get stuck somewhere while learning, how will my doubts be solved?
You will have 24*7 access to a doubt clearing forum where you can post your doubts and the program instructors would answer them with-in 24 hours. There will also be a live doubt clearing session with the instructor twice a month in which you can ask your doubts in real-time through chat or audio/video call.
Q. How many tests will be there in the Placement Guarantee course? How will these be administered and do I need to pass all of them to complete the Placement Guarantee course?
The Placement Guarantee course consists of 6 courses and each course will have several quizzes and module tests that are meant for your practice. Each course will also have a final test which will be online. You need to score min. 50% marks in the final test of each course to proceed to the next course and hence, passing all the final tests is necessary for you to complete the Placement Guarantee course.
Q. What happens if I am not able to clear the final test or want to improve the scores of a final test of a particular course?
You will get one more attempt to take the test on payment of Rs. 1000. There will not be any further attempts available to you.
Q. How will I get to practice what I learn? How many projects would be there? Do I need to submit all of them?
In addition to assignments that are meant for practice, each course will also have a final project where you will get to apply all the concepts that you have learned in the course.
Of the 6 total projects (one for each course), 3 are mandatory (1st, 3rd, and 4th). However, it is recommended that you submit all 6 projects since each project carries 50 marks and it would add to your overall Placement Guarantee course score. Completing all the projects will also improve your career prospects after completing the Placement Guarantee course.

Q. What is the online viva? When and how would they be conducted?
During the Placement Guarantee course, there will be 1 online viva (video call) that you are required to attend.
This viva will take place after you have completed all 6 courses in the Placement Guarantee course and submitted all the mandatory projects. In the viva, you will be asked questions based on concepts taught in the Placement Guarantee course and the projects you build.

The total marks in the Placement Guarantee course will be 2200 as per table below. You need to score a min. 75% marks (525) to graduate from the Placement Guarantee course and get your certificate.

You will receive two certificates after successfully completing this 8 months program. First, a certificate of completion for PGC course from Internshala. Second, a certificate of completion from MathWorks for MATLAB & Simulink if you attend 75% of the live classes.

The necessary requirements to be eligible for the Placement Guarantee course certificate are as follows -

Q. What are the eligibility criteria for the job guarantee?
For a Placement Guarantee course student to be eligible for the internship or stipend guarantee, they should -
- Be eligible and authorized to work in India during the job guarantee period.
- Meet the required passing criteria to graduate from the Placement Guarantee course.
- Graduate from the Placement Guarantee course with-in the originally stipulated duration without requiring any extension.
- Make all the fee payment on a timely basis without any delay.
- Participate in ALL placement related activities & drives organized by Internshala.
- Make sincere and reasonable efforts to apply for various internships and jobs offered on Internshala and/or on other platforms and attend ALL interviews & selection processes arranged/offered by Internshala.
- Ensure that the mandate of submitting at least 10 relevant applications per week on the Internshala portal is met.
- Not decline or withdraw applications from any full-time employment or internship with a pre-placement offer that they get during the internship guarantee period without Internshala's approval.
- Pass the background checks conducted by a company before starting the opportunity
- Neither leave the full-time employment or internship with a pre-placement offer mid-way nor be terminated from it due to lack of performance or misconduct.
- Not indulge in any non-disciplinary behavior or action during the training period (including plagiarism)
- Ensure you respond to ALL employers when they express interest in your profile.
- Not fail to meet any other condition as may be decided and communicated to them by Internshala from time to time.
Q. What is the process for a student to claim a refund under the job guarantee?
If you satisfy the eligibility criteria and still fail to get any full-time employment or internship with a pre-placement offer within the guarantee period, please write to jos@internshala.com upon completion of the placement Guarantee Period. We will let you know of the documents required to process your claim.
Q. How would the job placement process work?
After graduating from the Placement Guarantee course, at regular intervals, Internshala will prepare you for placements and share relevant electric vehicle opportunities (full-time employment or internship with a pre-placement offer) that you can apply to as per your choice. As a Placement Guarantee course student, your application will be highlighted to the recruiters. Companies will shortlist and assess you as per their respective policies.
Q. What are placement preparation sessions?
Placement preparation sessions are 1:1 sessions for Placement Guarantee course students so as to prepare them for interviews. These include sessions on cover letter writing, resume writing, LinkedIn profile building, and mock interviews.
These are mandatory sessions and in case the user isn't attending any session, they will be debarred from the guaranteed job program. The user will still be able to access the learning content.
