About the contest

Innovate Challenge is your chance to learn IoT for free and win exciting rewards. You only need to pay for the hardware kit. Once you register for the contest, you will first learn to create IoT projects from scratch on Internshala Trainings platform. You will then take part in the online challenge by the end of the training in which you will have to build and submit an IoT project based on the problem statement given to you, along with a synopsis (a small PPT, doc, or a video). The project will be evaluated by our judges and the top 3 projects would be rewarded with cash prizes worth Rs. 65,000! You have to first register for the contest by paying the IoT kit registration fee in the form above. Then you will be given free access to online IoT training on Internshala Trainings platform. In it, you will learn how to build an IoT project from scratch. The top 3 project and synopsis will be rewarded with cash prizes.
The IoT Training by Internshala is a 4-week kit based online training program in the field of electronics, cloud, analytics, sensor/actuator integration, and building intelligent internet-connected devices. It will give you extensive insight into the world of the Internet of Things. This training program has video tutorials and is packed with assignments, assessments tests, quizzes, and practice exercises for you to get a hands-on learning experience. At the end of this training program, you will have a solid understanding of IoT and will be able to build end-to-end IoT projects using a hardware kit.
Only students who register for the contest between 9th to 13th November, 2019 are eligible for this contest. Students enrolled for IoT training before or after this period are not eligible. Also, students who have participated in Internshala Trainings Innovate Challenge in the past, cannot participate again.
You don't need any prior knowledge of any language. You will learn everything from scratch. Only beginner-level students are eligible for this contest. People with prior knowledge and experience in the field of IoT - professionals, experts - are not eligible.
The training is completely online and you would be given access to the training on 28th November 2019. The project problem statement will be inside the training.
The training will start on 28th November 2019, you will have 5 weeks to learn IoT and build your project. You would have to submit the project and synopsis by 2nd January 2020 to qualify for the contest.
The training is completely video-based created by Internshala experts and Bolt IoT.
The results will be announced on 12th February 2020 via email.
Every participant who completes the training, takes the final test and scores at least 25% in the final test would be provided a certificate of completion from Internshala Trainings.
You would be given access to Internshala IoT training on 28th November 2019. You will get to know everything related to contest once your training starts.
