About the contest

Want to learn the language spoken by 300+ million people across the globe? Here is your chance to learn French and compete for cash prizes worth Rs. 65,000!

Once you register for the 'Bonjour, French!' contest, you will first learn how to read, write, understand (listen) and speak beginner level French and use it in day to day interactions in just 6 weeks! This training is created by Internshala in collaboration with Rachna Sachdev who has been a corporate trainer, an interpreter, and a French language teacher with 10+ years experience!

At the end of the training, top 10 scorers of the final test would be shortlisted for a viva and the top 3 performers will be awarded Rs. 35,000/-, Rs. 20,000/-, and Rs. 10,000/-. You will have to fill the form above and pay the registration fee to register yourself for the contest. Then you will be given access to the online French Language training on Internshala platform. As a part of the contest, you will attempt a final test and be interviewed based on the training program's content. The top 3 performers will be rewarded with cash prizes.

In this program, you will learn how to read, write, understand (listen) and speak beginner level French and use it in day to day interactions. This training consists of high-quality video tutorials and is packed with assignments, assessments tests, quizzes, and practice exercises for you to get a hands-on learning experience. The highlight of the training is an in-built speech recognition engine to help you practice speaking in French. By the end of this training program, you would have built a strong foundation in French language and will be able to use it in general every-day conversations like when greeting someone, asking for directions, expressing likes and dislikes, and more.

The Speech Recognition Engine feature allows the students to practice speaking and get feedback (correct/incorrect) on whether they spoke a French word correctly or not. The student will have in front of them a French word, its phonetic, and its audio. They can refer to the audio and the phonetic to figure out the correct pronunciation of the word and then can record themselves speaking that word. Once the student stops the recording, the engine would tell them if their pronunciation was correct or not.

Only those students who register for the contest between 17th Jan 2021 to 19th Jan 2021 are eligible for this contest. Students who have bought the French training before or after this period are not eligible.

You don't need any prior knowledge for this contest. You will learn everything from scratch. Only beginner-level students are eligible for this contest. People with prior knowledge and experience in French speaking - professionals, experts, native speakers are not eligible.

The training is completely online and you would be given access to the training on 20th Jan 2021.

The training will start from 20th Jan 2021, you will have 8 weeks to learn French language and take the final test. You would have to attempt the final test by 17th Mar 2021 to qualify for the contest.

The results will be announced by 15th Jun 2021 via email.

The training is completely video-based created by Internshala experts and Rachna Sachdev, a corporate French trainer and teacher with 10+ year experience.

Every participant who completes the training with 33% marks in the final test would be provided a certificate of completion from Internshala Trainings.

You would be given access to Internshala French language Training on 20th Jan 2021.
